Bogdan Petrovic is a character in the lore of BATTLEGROUNDS.
Biography[]
Bogdan ‘The Boogeyman’ Petrovic spent a decade in the Serbian Armed Forces before co-founding Pillar Securities with fellow soldier Goran Babic. After Goran was jailed on numerous counts of extortion and racketeering, Bogdan became the sole leader of the group. He achieved notoriety – and his nickname – through relentless and often brutal tactics.
In 2007, during the Botnari uprising, Bogdan and his unit were ambushed. All of Bogdan’s unit were killed – only he survived.
It was this lone survivor moment which drew the attention of bio-tech giant Tythonic Industries which hired them for private defense initiatives.
In late 2020, Bogdan lost both legs after a man known only as ‘Lunchmeat’ ran him over with the Pillar Tactical Truck. Bogdan received medical treatment and two state-of-the-art Tythonic prosthetics. Though reports indicate he is back on duty on Haven, recent rumors suggest he has been tasked with tracking down the individuals known as the Sanhok 4.
