The MG3 is a light machine gun type weapon in BATTLEGROUNDS.

This weapon was introduced in the Test Server PC 8.2 update.

Summary[]

The MG3 is an exclusive Air Drop weapon. It features two firing modes, the default that will fire at 660 round per minute (great for long range fights) or when toggled the weapon the fire at 990 round per minute (great for close-quarters combat). The MG3 comes standard with a bi-pod and with the toggled 990 round per minute setting, it's a great way to stop people crossing bridges.

Rip through your enemies like a buzzsaw with this updated relic.

Trivia[]

  • The MG3 is based on the real weapon of the same name.
  • The in-game description refers to it as a buzzsaw, since the weapon it was based on, the MG42 (the MG3 itself is a modified re-chambered MG42), as Hitler's Buzzsaw by the Allies.
