Note: Statistics pulled from https://en.namu.wiki/w/O12(PUBG:%20BATTLEGROUNDS)
The Origin 12 (referred to as the O12 in-game) is a single barrel shotgun with very high fire rate in BATTLEGROUNDS.
Summary[]
This is a firearm released through the 18.2 patch. It is a field drop automatic shotgun equipped with a basic 30-round drum magazine. The O12 uses 12-gauge slug ammunition, which is a newly added ammunition , unlike the conventional 12- gauge shotgun . A typical 12-gauge bullet has a lot of spread, so it becomes very disadvantageous as the distance increases. However, in the case of this gun that uses slug bullets, the damage at close range is lower than that of a 12 gauge shotgun, but unlike a cluster bullet, only one bullet flies, so the damage does not decrease significantly even if the distance is widened. It can be used like a DMR with a single shot, but it is difficult to use because the damage is greatly reduced after a certain distance. In the early days, unlike DBS and S12K, it was inconvenient to mount only a non-magnification scope, but the situation improved as it was possible to mount up to 6x magnification and attach a canted sight. The more inconvenient thing is that this is the only shotgun that can load slug bullets, so it is difficult to get ammo even though it is a field drop gun. It is unknown if other shotguns will be released in the future that can be loaded with slug rounds, or the O12 will be changed to be able to load 12 gauge.
