The QBU (QBU-88) is a DMR type weapon exclusive to Sanhok, replacing the Mini 14 on that map in BATTLEGROUNDS.

This weapon was introduced in the Test Server PC 1.0 update #18.

Summary

The QBU is a Chinese bullpup designated marksman that fits the theme/location of the Sanhok. The rifle features a bipod that deploys upon proning. When deployed, the bipod significantly reduces the recoil when shooting.

Semi-auto bullpup designated marksman rifle.

Trivia

  • The QBU-88 is based on the QBU-88 (Type 88), Chinese sniper rifle. The fact that in-game rifle uses 5,56 NATO ammunition indicates that it is rather the KBU-97A, export variant of QBU-88.
